This makes a complete question?!?
So claim Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Anderson “The Photographers in Columbia” [Tennessee] on February 14, 1913:
The original is from the Library of Congress’ Chronicling America Project.
Mrs. J. R. Anderson (which is how she is always referred to in the newspaper, even though her name was Elizabeth), later claimed to be “the only lady photographer in the city of Columbia.” I don’t think there is any question about that.
Stay tuned for the answer (and no peeking!)
